While the Company has purchased a number of charged-off portfolios, we have chosen to focus on the purchase of semi-performing and partially performing secured and unsecured portfolios. As a Boutique Acquirer, many of the Company's acquisitions resulted from the purchase of portions of major sales sold at par from institution to institution or major credit card issuer to major card issuer. Frequently, accounts of lesser value than par, and those of imperfect documentation are excluded from large sales and have found a home with our Company. Many of these institutions are aware of our niche purchasing and request our bid on that portion of portfolios not being acquired as part of a major sale. Century is actively pursuing additional portfolios of consumer receivables. We possess an exceptionally sophisticated acquisition team with the capability of performing due diligence without disturbing a seller's staff and the ability to rapidly determine the value of an offering.
